    I think your videos sometimes get a bit confusing for me because I always have different features from those you use as an example… priyanka is the closest one to my facial appearance because of her nose, but her nose is still a lot different than mine (which is chubby and the bridge is not prominent like hers) so I wonder if what you analyze does really work for me as well. also, I think creating a discord server for people from your channel help analyze each other and give their opinions on how to look better etc, could be a good idea!

  • @etanol.
    @etanol. 3 часа назад

    I think makeup can help with making your face more symmetrical, for example if you have your lips a bit tilted to one side you can put some makeup on the opposite side to make it look more even, another example is contouring your face in a way to compensate the differences between the sides. one of my eyebrows is higher than the other, so what I do is elevate the eyebrow that is lower and I try to lower the higher one, by simply brushing it. also, to look more symmetrical on photos you just have to find the right angle of your face to take pictures.

    I watched both videos but I’m still confused: my nose is kinda fat at the bottom and it is short, my lips are small (narrow and a bit thin), my eyes do not draw much attention naturally and they are kinda hooded. I got that I should wear more eye makeup and I totally agree my nose really draws a lot of attention, so that means I should wear a softer lip color? because my lips are already small and wearing a softer color makes them a bit smaller, but I also find bolder colors to be awful since it makes my nose more notable.

    As an olive person I wear mostly colors that offset the yellowness in my skin. I look best in white, blue, mint. As for makeup I’ve noticed that I prefer to wear bronzey shades in winter, and in summer I stay away from them 😅 I’d say being an olive I don’t follow any color seasoning. I just need to balance my yellow/blue ratio and make sure I’m not looking too green, yellow or grey. So I really agree with everything you said in the video!

    What a great video! I suppose I’m fortunate with this video having olive skin and that I fall in the deep winter category but feel like I can do the dark autumn as well. I also relate to the comment about wearing black. If I wear a black jacket and top I disappear. If I wear a strapless or sleeveless black top showing more skin or balance with a lighter color it looks so much better. Thanks Jenn!

    12:20 - I loved the style on the left (leather jacket/jeans combo) more. I would add on a studded black belt to match your bracelt. This is a very cool outfit and it feels like this matches with your words: Comfortable, minimal, and rebellious.

    Thank you, that really helped. I have a very long torso with loong arms (that divide my whole body in half) and short legs + short shins. I understand how to make my legs appear longer by highliting my waistline and avoiding knee length. But I always struggle with my upper body. Somehow I can't figure out how to use rule of thirds for the neckline. I NEVER know how to wear a button up or a low neckline. My upper body looks droopy and weird with low necklines and too long with high necklines....!? please help I beg you 😂🙏

    Breathable, playful, structured Breathable because I HATE being sweaty in my clothes Playful, because the outfits on my pinterest board are playful and experiment with colour and texture and patterns, every outfit has a statement piece Structured because fashion-wise i don't like a form fitting silhouette, I like some bulk/structure and I like when clothes look sturdy and make me feel "held"

    I've wasted so much money on hoop earrings too! I am short and petite and usually go for dainty jewellery. So I started out with thin medium hoops. Didn't love it, something looked unbalanced. So I went smaller. It was better but I didn't notice them as much. I thought maybe I need thicker hoops. So I tried that. I love thicker hoops, but my first few pairs were medium sized and it looked unbalanced again. Eventually after experimenting with like a dozen pairs, I've finally figured out my best hoops. Thicker, super tiny hoops that hug my ear. These are really hard to find, unfortunately. They need to be like 5mm diameter. My hunt for the perfect hoops definitely gave me an appreciation for how complex and not so obvious it can be to find one's most flattering style.

    I really enjoyed this video. I have been really thinking about my style as i am moving from the Caribbean to Asia, so I thought i could use this time to really clear stuff out. My words are: Comfortable Minimal Romantic I wear lots of earthy neutrals (tan, olive green, cream, black); I love wide legged pants with elastic at the back of the waistband and clothes that do not hug me too much, midi length dresses; I love soft/loose ruffled blouses and dress, polka dots, slip skirts (think Sezanne and Rouje)

    For me my words are Comfortable, Elegant, and Pretty. *Comfortable* No matter what I always reach for the most comfortable clothing item. I can't stand when I'm fully aware of the clothes I'm wearing all day. For example; an itchy sweather. Wearing leather pants and feeling the plastic texture sticking to my legs all day. Wearing a cropped shirt and feeling the breeze on my waist everytime I life my arms up. Clothes that make a sound every time I move etc. Pants that sag over time, so I have to keep pulling it up. *Elegant* I like to come across as elegant. I guess I like when others perceive me as elegant. I like the respect I receive. I like the type of people I attract when I am elegant etc. Also, something about feeling comfortable while looking elegant feels like I found a cheat code in life. Comfortable things tend to look too casual and elegant things tend to feel stuffy. Finding the balance is like winning a jackpot. *Pretty* I am naturally feminine so feeling pretty makes me feel good about myself. I also think looking pretty matches my personality because I am such a feminine person on the inside.

    Great vid, I have really reconsidered my 3 words, especially since I can relate to your examples and 3 word chart. (I love minimal/edgy/relaxed styles 🖤) Mine were: modest, mystique, effortless Words now: versatile, effortless, subtle 🙂🎉 "Modest" and "comfort" are synonymous and important for me, tho I chose "versatile" since I overall think about how to prepare. "Mystique" feels somewhat pretentious even as my ideal word, since modesty is a large consideration of my style. "Effortless" feels more aspirational and visual, and also compliments my "versatile" and love for relaxed/minimal styles. "Subtle" feels more aligned with my comfort and modesty/minimal style, plus gives room to experiment.

    Take a video about this , The world is now ruled by one community of people, the world Satanic elite, you can also call them the committee to meet the Antichrist and prevent the 2nd coming of Jesus, Trump called them the deep state, at the moment it consists of about 10,000 people, the main ones there are Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Windsors, Baruchs, they, their ancestors, descendants and other people who enter there have the mark of Lucifer, which, if they bring the antichrist and do not allow the 2nd coming, they will receive eternal life after the x hour, and the rest of humanity, for all the time that they have lived, they won't get anything, so all people should know about the existence of a world government (Jesus who was a The Prophet of God, not God.God will send Jesus as a reward to humanity, if humanity deserves it, for this it is necessary to fight Lucifer and his elite)

    I love that system, but my all time favorite is the style root method by @elliejeanroyden ! If you don't know it's a system with 8 style roots inspired by nature, and you're supposed to find the three that resonate the more with you, and show them through your outfits. It might seem very limited but each style root is quite broad and the "perfect items" are those that encompasses all three style roots in one which actually makes it very tailored to your taste.

    OMG YASSSSSSS I love u Jenn 😂 I’m a FN and i always read you shouldn’t tuck in shirts, instead you should wear long shirts that go til your hip so you don’t cut your vertical but i haaaaaated that and i thought it looked awful. I always tucked in shirts and wear high-waist whatever bc it felt better to me and i thought i was doing it wrong. I also thought i was messing up w my length when wearing shorts or minidresses but they just felt so right (specially when combined with heels) but yeah, some kibbe ‘experts’ would say that cuts the vertical 🤦🏻‍♀️ I love your channel so much. Like another commenter said, it is not fashion 101, it is 401 and i totally agree!! I already know lots of things about fashion and have a good eye and sense of style, so all these basic channels don’t help me at all. EXCEPT YOURS. You always teach the basic concepts + explain more in depth and give a more “refined” (pun intended) advise. THANK YOU!!! Keep it up!!! ❤

My emotional word is unclear, in the past it’s been it’s “theatrical” dramatic, or unexpected. But recently I’m getting interested in natural materials and more muted colors so I wonder if natural or organic is a possibility. Retro and organic can be hard to combine!

    The algorithm has blessed me today -- your channel is new to me and this video was just what I needed. I've been so bored with my wardrobe (and myself, honestly), and have finally started going through it to give away things I don't like or don't wear or that don't fit, and trying to put the rest together in ways that make me feel more fully my whole self. Even the small strides I've made so far are helping, but I'd stalled out and wasn't sure where to go next. Your video makes such perfect sense, I feel reenergized! Your three words are very close to mine, so that helps me too - seeing you style these outfits, I think it was less of a reach to understand and apply to myself than if mine were like, boho, maximal, and carefree (that isn't to say it'd have been hard, just that with the headspace I'm in, this was even easier). And seeing the outfits you put together and how well they worked -- I would never have thought to put that jacket and those shoes with that tee-shirt but it looks terrific and so natural! I'm encouraged to step outside my assumptions and try things I'd never have even thought to try before. Thank you! (Also liked and subscribed. ❤️) Oh, and my three words are comfortable, minimal, and confident, which for me is very like your definition of rebellious but with less of my 60 year old skin showing! 😂

      Your thought process really helped me. I think my words should be comfortable, natural (I'm all about wool, linen, cotton), and confident. In my 30s and 40s I would have gone more with "classy but badass" but I think now in my 50s I just want to look confident.
